Rail strike

  • Passenger assistance will be available as usual for all trains which are running. Check upcoming strike days that affect our trains.
  • If you’ve already booked Passenger Assistance for strike days it may be affected by timetable changes, and we would encourage you to check your train is running before making your journey. We will endevour to contact you to notify you if this is the case.

If possible, please book your assistance in advance. You can request it a minimum of 2 hours before you travel. We understand booking may not be possible sometimes, in which case we will make every effort to get you to your destination.

Our Assisted Travel Team is reachable around the clock, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Submissions via this form are only processed during the hours of 08:00 and 22:00, if you'd like to make a booking outside of these times or for travel within 2 hours, you're advised to use the methods below:

Passenger Assist booking system permission

Do you agree for your personal and journey data to be gathered and held within the Passenger Assist booking system for two years, and made available to all Train Operating Companies and Network Rail for all your bookings, in order that they can arrange and carry out assistance on your behalf?
If you do not wish for your data to be held, we can still try our best to make arrangements for your assistance, but cannot guarantee it, as we will not be able to contact you should there be anything unclear in your request, or if alternative arrangements need to be made due to an unmanned or inaccessible station. We will also be unable to advise you of any disruption and/or engineering works that may affect your journey.
