We know that as a regular traveller, you want the best value ticket possible. That’s why we’ve created this handy guide to help you find the right ticket for you and save you money.

Did you know we have five different tickets for commuters including season tickets?

Daily Ticket

It’s all you’ll need if you’re travelling infrequently.

Weekly Season

Great for regular commuters travelling more than three days a week but want some flexibility throughout the year. Includes seven-day unlimited travel between two stations.

Monthly Season

Brilliant for regular commuters or term-time travellers, giving monthly unlimited travel between two stations. Month to month purchase or direct debit auto-renewal options available.

Custom Length Season

The ticket that works around you. Great if you want to save while commuting for a set period of time.

Annual Season

If you’re looking for the fantastic value, this is the one. Get 12 weeks of free travel and unlimited journeys between two stations for an entire year. You will also gain access to the many benefits with an annual Gold Card for certain routes. Upfront or monthly direct debit payment options available.

Flexi Season

The Flexi Season ticket offers 8 days of travel in 28 days - any time, any day of the week, between two stations. It’s a flexible solution if you need to travel to work a couple of times a week at peak times.

Still not sure which ticket is best? Here are some frequently asked questions that will help you find the right rail season ticket for you.

75% of Season Ticket holders use Smart Card for seamless travel. Order your free electronic, reusable Smart Card online – it only takes five minutes and will be delivered to your address within 3 working days. Alternatively, you can collect a physical Smart Card from one of our stations after two hours. Then simply add your purchased train season ticket to your Smart Card all in the GA app .

A Flexitime Season ticket is similar to a normal season ticket but it cannot be used for trains originally scheduled to arrive into London Liverpool Street between 07.15 and 09.15 on weekdays.

If you commute one or two days a week, a Daily Anytime Return Ticket is best for you. And if you travel outside of peak time, you can get further savings with Off-Peak, or Super Off-Peak Daily Return Tickets. Find out about Daily Tickets .

If you commute three or more days a week regularly, choose a Monthly, Custom Length, Annual or Weekly Season Ticket. Depending on where you commute from and to, you could save up to ⅓ compared to Anytime Daily Return Tickets.

It’s easy to buy your Season Ticket digitally through the GA app or on our website. For Smart Card users, please load your purchased Weekly, Monthly, Custom Length or Annual Season Ticket to your Smart Card via the GA app for instant contactless travel. Plus, there are never any booking or credit card fees when you book with us. Buy tickets online or via the app.

You can also set up an auto-renew, direct debit with a Seasons Direct monthly season ticket.
